Battery Works has proudly been incorporating AERL’s EarthGuard Earth Leakage Detectors with unearthed PV array’s (60-300V) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (48/120V) since 2020.
The product didn’t just do the minimum to meet Australian Standards on a single device, the EarthGuard provided better value with a smarter solution to protect the whole system for earth leakage.
AERL CoolMax solar charge controllers are available in 48V and 120V versions. Both feature very high 600V maximum PV input voltage limits, so long strings of solar panels can be connected in series, like a traditional grid connected PV inverter.
This dramatically simplifies and reduces the cost of a installing a solar array for a Battery Energy Storage System.
AERL CoolMax solar charge controllers and EarthGuard Earth Leakage Detectors can be used with Pylontech managed lithium batteries and almost another other brand of lithium or lead acid battery. If the battery can be used with Victron Energy, Selectronic or SMA, then the AERL solar controller can charge it.
CoolMax solar charge controllers and EarthGuard Earth Leakage Detectors can be used with grid connected hybrid systems or off-grid systems.
