A technical training course designed for installers interested in understanding and effectively using Victron Energy’s range of products.

Course Description

This course provides an in-depth exploration of Victron inverters, MPPT solar controllers, battery monitors, and system monitoring tools.

Participants will learn the critical factors to consider in selecting appropriate products for specific tasks, understand the differences between products, and comprehend the nuances of sizing generators. Key components of the course also include troubleshooting common issues and familiarity with common system types specific to off-grid power systems. A hands-on demonstration and guide on how to use the Victron VRM portal and programming software will provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of the product ecosystem.

 

You will discuss and work on the following topics:

  • DC coupled solar
  • AC coupled solar
  • Generator sizing and set up
  • Lead acid or lithium batteries
  • Battery monitoring
  • Sizing system components
  • Programming products
  • Product commissioning
  • Remote system monitoring and management
